InterBank Acquires Town and Country Bank

In November 2012, InterBank announced plans to acquire Town and Country Bank of Stephenville, Texas, with locations in Aledo, Bluff Dale, Glen Rose and Granbury. The purchase was completed January 25, 2013. In mid-April, we are scheduled to align our computer systems for customers to access the new locations. We’re very excited about what InterBank has to offer to the fine communities Town and Country Bank has served.

The InterBank name was first introduced in January of 1996, as a group of Western Oklahoma banks in Clinton, Elk City, Hobart and Sayre. Today, InterBank is made up of 33 banking locations in Oklahoma and Texas held by Olney Bancshares of Texas, Inc. In Oklahoma, those banks were previously Rose Rock Bank and Union Bank. These 33 locations have a strong history in their communities and remain committed to the customers who help make up this Oklahoma state-chartered bank.
